The Teaching Assistant Orientation introduces new and returning graduate students to the teaching culture at UC Merced by addressing important pedagogical policies, classroom dynamics, and course planning. The orientation is composed of a morning session and afternoon sessions, with a lunch break in between (lunch will be provided). All sessions are mandatory.
