Developing Critical Thinking with Active Learning

When you want your students think more critically about the material being studied (e.g.,Apply, analyze, evaluate and create) active learning should become a more prominent feature of your pedagogy.  Lecturing (whether asynchonous or synchronous) and other learning activities (e.g., videos, readings) should provide the foundation needed for engagement at this level.
