8-8:45am Information Fair. Coffee, tea and pastries will be served during which a poster session from various campus support entities will be presented in COB 113.
8:45am Welcome and Introductions - Jack Vevea, Vice-Provost for Undergraduate Education
9-10am Preparing for the First Day of Class
10-10:15am Break
10:15am Ethics-related Teaching Policies: FERPA and Academic Conduct
10:45am Conducting Labs and Discussion Sections
11:15am Review of Classroom Safety, Handling Disruptions
11:30am-12:15pm Panel of Experienced TAs for Questions and Answers
12:30-1:15pm Lunch
1:30-3:30pm Workshop options, including CROPS and Library training, that are also open to the entire graduate student community.
