Maurizio Forte, Professor of World Heritage, and , and Nicolo' Dell'Unto, Post-doctoral Fellow, will introduce the audience to the 3-D virtual world of Second Life. Using UC Merced's very own Virtual Heritage Island in Second Life as an example, they will discuss and demonstrate how this learning platform can teach students important archaeological skills.
